The Script Live in Manila
They were here. I was there. The rest is History. One big Euphoric Night! Thanks for the music! The Script First time in Manila.I can’t believe I was part of History and I can’t believe I got 2 tickets a day before the concert. The thing is I Have known about the concert over a month ago but never did I even to get a reservation. Stupid Habit. I know.
Thanks to technology. A friend on Facebook sold me 2 of his tickets. Yes and that was the night before the concert.! BTW, Just so you know the concert is sold out.
So I went with a friend and Had the best night ever.. wait that’s an understatement.. BEST NIGHT EVER! Lolz
So the concert is suppose to start around 8:00 PM but the somehow started around 9ish. Wow The first time they came out, the crowd went wild! They rocked us with the Well performed opening number of their sophomore album single: “You won’t feel a Thing” Everyone started standing and Jammed. Ergo the pic:
I only had the chance to hear the second album and defo my stype of music. Alternative Rock. I love almost all of the tracks and been constantly playing it on my iphone. Never heard the first album yet until now. The next three songs were from the first album including “We Cry.”
I did like how they sang “If you ever come back” and “Before the worst.” I was jumping the whole time. There were times when you can barely hear Danny’s voice because of the crowd, specially when they sang the hit song “The man who can’t be moved”
I could have sworn that was one of the highlights of the evening, everyone is singing along. I had Goosebumps hearing it nor even recalling it atm. Danny was so overwhelmed at the end that he have to sit down in awe. That was so just so euphoric.
One thing I like is that in between songs they tell some anecdotes about their songs. Especially the moment when they took a picture of them with the crowd. Here’s the pic:
They did more than 15 songs overall. They also sang “Nothing”, “If you see Kay” and my my fave “Science and Faith”. They did a good number for “Rusty Halo.”
One of the highlights of the night was the last two songs they sang. They did a wonderful renditon of my all time fave “For the FIrst Time” and “Breakeven.” I almost thought they wouldn’t play it/
Its such a shame they only get to perform for an hour, how i wish they sang all the songs
I hope they come back, if they do I’ll defo get VIP tcikets!
So much love for this band.

E R A T O
In Greek mythology, Erato ( /ˈɛrətoʊ/; Greek: Ἐρατώ) is one of the Greek Muses. The name would mean "desired" or "lovely", if derived from the same root as Eros, as Apollonius of Rhodes playfully suggested in the invocation to Erato that begins Book III of his Argonautica.[1]
Erato is the Muse of lyric poetry, especially love and erotic poetry. In theOrphic hymn to the Muses, it is Erato who charms the sight. Since theRenaissance she is often shown with a wreath of myrtle and roses, holding a lyre, or a small kithara, a musical instrument that Apollo or she herself invented.

Facebook Badge
I finally figured it out. I have added a facebook badge on my blog few months back. My problem before was that the status is not updating on the site. It only says NONE. At first I thought, it was a bug that will eventually be fixed by developers, ergo from time to time i checked the latest version.
Well only last night did I realize the fix. Haha.
The key is with your facebook status privacy setting.
Everytime that you post something on your status, you have make the privacy setting of the post to be seen by everyone. Not by only by friends, not a group but by everyone.
If it has privacy setting it will display NONE on the facebook badge. The only problem about this is that i only show my wall post to certain people. Haha.
See how my status displays on the badge now:
For those of you who would like to know how to create one. Here’s the link: http://www.facebook.com/badges/

He felt dead inside.
No matter how hard he partied,
he could never escape that simple fact - inside, dead.
And that was his life.
Running from a feeling.
At least until he could run no more.
Exhausted, spent and beaten, when the end finally came, he welcomed it.
With life ebbing from his wasted body, he was suddenly swept up in a transcendent state of joy that was pure and complete.
Moments later he felt dead inside.

Awesome Story
“One morning, a farmer knocked loudly on the door of a monastery. When Brother Porter opened the door, the farmer held out to him a magnificent bunch of grapes.
“‘Dear Brother Porter, these are the finest grapes from my vineyard. Please accept them as a gift from me.’
“‘Why, thank you! I’ll take them straight to the Abbot, who will be thrilled with such a gift.’
“‘No, no. I brought them for you.’
“‘For me? But I don’t deserve such a beautiful gift from nature.’
“‘Whenever I knocked on the door, you opened it. When the harvest had been ruined bydrought, you gave me a piece of bread and a glass of wine every day. I want this bunch of grapes to bring you a little of the sun’s love, the rain’s beauty, and God’s miraculous power.’
“Brother Porter put the grapes down where he could see them and spent the whole morning admiring them: they really were lovely. Because of this, he decided to give thepresent to the Abbot, whose words of wisdom had always been such a boon to him.
“The Abbot was very pleased with the grapes, but then he remembered that one of the other monk was ill and thought: ‘I’ll give him the grapes. Who knows, they might bring a little joy into his life.’
“But the grapes did not remain for very long in the room of the ailing monk, for he in turn thought: ‘Brother Cook has taken such good care of me, giving me only the very best food to eat. I’m sure these grapes will bring him great happiness.’ And when Brother Cook brought him his lunch, the monk gave him the grapes.
“‘These are for you. You are in close touch with the gifts nature gives us and will know what to do with this, God’s produce.’
“Brother Cook was amazed at the beauty of the grapes and drew his assistant’s attention to their perfection. They were so perfect that no one could possibly appreciate them more than Brother Sacristan, who had charge of the Holy Sacrament, and whom many in the monastery considered to be a truly saintly man.
“Brother Sacristan, in turn, gave the grapes to the youngest of the novices in order to help him understand that God’s work is to be found in the smallest details of the Creation. When the novice received them, his heart was filled with the Glory of God, because he had never before seen such a beautiful bunch of grapes. At the same time, he remembered the day he had arrived at the monastery and the person who had opened the door to him; that gesture of opening the door had allowed him to be there now in that community of people who knew the value of miracles.
“Shortly before dark, he took the bunch of grapes to Brother Porter.
“‘Eat and enjoy. You spend most of your time here all alone, and these grapes will do you good.’
“Brother Porter understood then that the gift really was intended for him; he savored every grape and went to sleep a happy man. In this way, the circle was closed; the circle of happiness and joy which always wraps around those who are in contact with the energy of love.”

In the near future..
..we will see brain scan technology that can determine, without fail, if someone is telling the truth.
Shortly thereafter, we will be able to buy mobile devices that perform the same task on the fly.
In other words, we are on the verge of having all of our conversations constantly and instantly monitored for veracity.
This would then spawn a counter-technology comprised of personal mind shields that keep oneself from being scanned (the use of which would, of course, imply that one is keeping secrets).
The end result? Universal honesty, initially as a result of the duress of surveillance, will become the norm. Then, over time, this mode of thinking, communicating and behaving will become second nature.
This will usher in the dawn of a new civilization. After thousands of years of human suffering, world peace and the long-fabled 'good will towards all men' will have finally arrived.
The end of lying and cheating will also mark the end of scripted entertainment. So, you know, there'll be a downside.

Life will knock you down more times than you can possibly imagine. Don't knock yourself down. Don't avoid feeling embarrassed because you are afraid something is not gonna go well. So what if it doesn't go well. Put yourself out there. Give yourself a chance.
