So here's my review for Ab Aeterno, Still just a draft
What do you think of Richard's statement claiming that the Island is hell. Watching the whole episode, Im beginning to think that it was only Richard's point of view of what happened to him. I for sometime thought that the whole concept of the show. But it kind of makes you wonder right??
Is Hurley speaking latin?? Not sure if its Spanish.
Tenerife, Canary Islands 1867- excellent story arc.. very deep and very dramatic
Excellent Story arc. finding out that Richard accidentally killed the doctor of her dying wife, the story was deep and very dramatic.
So we now that the reason he is in chains is because he killed a man and he was sold to Captain Magnus Hanso. Richard was a slave boarding the Black Rock
We learned that the tidal wave that caused the island to be flooded eroded the Black Rock in the mid part of the Island as a result. So dig this, the statue's destruction was caused by the black rock, when it accidentally hit the statue. Leaving the four toed statue.Wow! Amazing.
The Black Smoke spared Richard’s life to kill Jacob.
Isabella is supposedly dead, So who appeared as Isabella in The Black Rock? It is not the Black smoke bec aside from the fact that she warned him about the evil that lurks the jungle, the Black smoke clearly is outside the ship during that time. My question is can the Black smoke multiply?? haha
MIB touched Richard and said “It’s good to see out of those chains” Freaky!
Love this dialogue "One way to escape hell is to kill the devil.. You only have one chance. You put this through his chest. Do not hesitate. Do not let him say a word. If he speaks, it will already be too late. He can be very persuasive..”
After realizing that MIB wants him to kill the black smoke. He hesitated until MIB revealed his Black smokey after all. He freakishly said. “No. I am” “You aren’t the only the one who has lost something my friend, The devil betrayed me. He took my body, my humanity.”
Jacob representation of the Island with the CORK. So this is exactly what the spoiler is all about.
Here's how Jacob explained it. “Think of this wine as what you keep calling hell. There’s many other names for it too. Malevolence. Evil. Darkness. And here it is, swirling around in the bottle, unable to get out because if it did, it would spread. The cork is this Island. And it’s the only thing that’s keeping the darkness where it belongs. That man that sent you here believes that everyman is corruptible because it’s in their very nature to sin. I bring people here to prove him wrong. And when they get here their past doesn’t matter. “
One question that I want to know is that; Jacob was the reason why the Black Rock crew and the Losties are on the island. One concept of the show is that they are there for a reason. Because Jacob has a plan for them, then how come he didn't know Richard when he tried to kill him on the beach.
Here's what he said: “Because I wanted them to help themselves, to know the difference between right and wrong without me having to tell them. It’s all meaningless if I have to force them to do anything.
It makes me wonder did he have a plan for Richard and the other people on board the ship then.
Who is Jacob? Whay is he? What superhuman capabilities he have?
So dig this, Jacob offered Richard a job; As a representative and the 3 things that Richard requested: -- He wants his wife back. Absolution from his sins. An since Jacob said that he can’t do that, he requested not do die and live forever.
Jacob touched Richard and What’s the significance of the white rock that Jacob asked Richard to give to MIB??
Hurley doing the Ghost Whisperer thingy, Beautiful scene, Redemption. O love the dialogue: “You have to stop the Man in Black, because if you don’t. We’re all going to go to Hell.” Camera zooms out from afar revealing Flocke. Another Freaky moment.
Here’s an interesting connotation. After Jacob revealing the purpose of the island to Richard using the champagne bottle analogy. MIB crashing the Champagne bottle while saying: Now you know why I want to kill you and it is Sooner than you think.
Nestor Carbonell really deserves an award.
The best Episode so far.,. Hoping for more;
Alright.. I guess that's all for now.
These are just my stupid thoughts.
