Lets talk about Spartacus Blood and Sand. This is another great TV series. It has a very good story plot, and the way the story progresses is also quite remarkable. Can you believe that the Steven DeKnight and Sam Raimi are the creators of this epic war story?
It's actually quite interesting because DeKnight is known to be an executive producer of Smallville, and well of course Sam Raimi known for the Spiderman series reboot.
The story is captured by well written plot that the audience can really relate to. Interesting story arcs. Excellent costume and set design. Graphics-wise: melancholicly BLOODY.
The hour long series is involves around nudity, morbidity and language that might not be inappropriate for others, but somehow making the show more realistic and presentably depicts the culture of the past.
This gladiatoresque and 300-ish series is about the uprising of slave from a gladiator and the obstacles he need to jump into before he can become the superior king of the arena. Spartacus who is played by Andy Whitman, did well in his part acting-wise. Andy was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and is now going under chemotherapy.
Though Season 1 has not concluded yet, I'm hoping for his speedy recovery for him and the shows stake. Rumors around it that it might delay production for the second season.
I will be watching the episode 9 so.. later then..
again, These are just my stupid thoughts
